There are times we are paralyzed by fear or scared to make the next move. What do you do when this happens? How can you move past your fear?
So often we are waiting for everything to be perfect, aligned in all ways, or have all the answers before we start. The only problem with this is you often won’t find perfect, alignment or answers without action.
Take small action now toward the thing you want more clarity on. Take action now toward the thing that makes you nervous to do. Take action now on the thing that you have been dreaming about but haven’t done yet because of all the doubts you have about it.
Great clarity comes from action!
This episode we talk about what to look for to catch if you are stuck in fear. We talk through ways to help work on that fear and move past it.

Do you often find yourself apologizing or downplaying your strengths? There are ways you too may be giving away your power without even realizing it. Listen to this episode and see if you find yourself doing things that give away your power.
Subtle ways we give away our power?
- seeking external validation
- Letting other people dictate our emotions
- Neglecting personal boundaries
- Allowing negative influences to control your reactions
- Apologizing at inappropriate times
- No speaking about your own needs or knowing our own needs
- Delaying or procrastinating decisions
- Having limiting beliefs about yourself
- Overexplaining – no is a complete sentence
- Attempting to control others (I want to be able to do this too but it’s simply not possible)
- Not giving 100% or diluting your energy and focus
- Avoiding difficult tasks or situations

Have you ever allowed what someone says about you influence what you think about yourself? Do you believe you have less worth or more worth based on what other people say about you?
We cannot outsource our thoughts about ourself to someone else. It just doesn't work. The second problem with this is that when you outsource what you believe about you, you never will find peace.
Other people have different life expectations and they have different experiences that influence how they interpret their world and you in the world they're in. So outsourcing your opinion of yourself to what other people think about you can be confusing and cause us to feel insecure or doubt our own abilities.
On the other hand, when you take responsibility for the thoughts that you have, the feelings you have about yourself and about the world around you, you ultimately take responsibility by taking and managing your thoughts and managing your feelings, you get to manage the result in your life and how you feel.
Your self-esteem will not be dependent on how others react to you or what someone else thinks about you. Then you also stop fearing what other people think as much because you realize, oh, I'll be okay. Even if someone thinks something bad about me, it's okay. They are allowed to have their opinions. They may keep those opinions indefinitely, and they may change those opinions over time as they watch you grow.
When you begin creating more belief in yourself and your confidence grows, then you grow.
I've learned to let go of what other people think of me, and I can help you do that too.
I help people uncover doubts that they've developed, that prevent them from truly connecting to other people.
I have helped kids as young as 12 years old, and there are women in their seventies that I've helped peel back layers and layers of walls that they've built over the years. I can tell you no matter. How many layers you have or how much in your head that you're stuck with, you can do it.
You can become a more confident version of yourself.
You can let go of what your mom or your dad have said about you or believe about you, or what you believe they believe about you. You can finally forgive a friend for what they did or said or how they hurt you and.
If you're listening to this and you are someone who outsources your belief in yourself and your value to other people, you need to hop on a call with me. The longer you wait, the more problems that you'll have and the longer you will struggle With this.
I want to help you have less frustration and struggle with your relationships. Open yourself up to having deeper connection and not being scared of connection due to things that have happened, or people have things that people have said in your past. Have you experienced a life changing event? An event that left you feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and less confident in your abilities to handle life?

Life is uncertain and in different seasons we are left without a clear direction. When you don't have a clear direction and you want to crawl in bed and cry. Give yourself permission to take each day slowly and focus on getting small things done. Each time you finish even the smallest task your confidence will grow.
Be patient, listen to this episode a few times and take note. I have been there many times and I love sharing what has helped me come out more confident, self reliant, and filled with joy. By the way, you can feel joy even in the storm!

When we think of having a better mindset we might think in terms of always being positive. There is a little more to a growth mindset and deciding if you need a mindset reset is important.
First step to improving your mindset and gaining more confidence is to become aware of what your current thoughts and beliefs are. Sometimes these are holding you back. We have so many thoughts a day and we don't think about what we think about.
If mindset was simply being able to write down affirmations on a post it, affixing it to your bathroom mirror, and reading it over and over while brushing your teeth we would all be rich, famous, and in the best health of our lives. It's not that simple.
You have to believe what you are telling yourself. The mindset you adopt has to be believable to you. If you want better relationships, a higher paying job, or a fantastically fit body it requires a mindset of success.
A mindset shift happens when you take the time to identify what mindset you want. At times, it will take changing the way you interact with the world. If you complain it will require you to rewire your brain to stop complaining as much. If you think life is always a struggle it will require you imagine a world that isn't a struggle.
Mindset requires curiosity and you may need to enlist some help along the way. Listen to this episode for some mindset tricks, tips, and shifts that will help you live a life happier and healthier than ever.
